Take the
A316 towards London. Then just before
Twickenham Bridge go left into
The Avenue. Then at the river turn left into
Ranelagh Drive. A short way up this drive we park and meet at
Richmond Lock Footbridge.
We then walk across the footbridge and go left along the River Thames to
Strand-on-the-Green where we lunch at the
'City Barge', which is the second pub after
Kew Bridge.
After lunch we catch a bus back to Richmond, followed by a short walk to pick up the cars.
