From Ranelagh Drive across the river from Richmond Lock, we walk along the riverside to Hammerton Ferry (near Marble Hill House). We then cross over via the ferry to the Surrey bank and walk back along the opposite side of the river, for lunch at the White Cross Pub at Richmond. Then we return to the cars parked at Richmond Lock.
