Start point is the car parking area at Wraysbury Railway Station. Take the B376 from Staines, go under the M25 near Junction 13 and straight across the roundabout into Staines Road. Follow Staines Road through Wraysbury High Street and continue till you reach the railway bridge. At the foot of the bridge go down the right hand side slip road to the station's car parking area.

This walk is within sight of water for much of its length. It follows the Colne Brook for about 1 mile, returning along the Thames-side meadows of Ankerwyke Farm. This circular walk is made possible by the "permitted path" across Windsor & Maidenhead Council's Ankerwyke Estate.
The walk is approx. 3 1/2 miles in the morning and 1 mile in the afternoon. The lunch stop is at 'The Perseverance' public house in Wraysbury High Street.

THE WALK WILL START PROMPTLY AT 10.30 a.m.
